Qingdao TV covers the Olympic torch relay with LINKHD

NDT sent engineers to support Qingdao TV in their Olympic Torch Relay broadcast. The relay event was held in Qingdao city on the 21st July.
Qingdao TV deployed 4 OB vans to broadcast the whole event. The relay comprised of a 14.5km route which included a land and sea route. In total they used 5 LINKHD Wireless Camera Systems and 1 LINKSD system to cover the event. 2 LINKHD systems were set up in BOB Van which focused on the torchbearer.
All of the video and audio signals were gathered to Qingdao TV's master control room to be routed to CCTV and to Qingdao's cable TV network as back up.
Qingdao TV was extremely pleased with the result and systems performed faultlessly.
