XL Video was tasked to cover Japfest 2008 at The Castle Combe Circuit,. With an expected attendance of over 2000 cars the event has established itself as the premier event for modified Japanese cars. With track action was going on throughout the day live action was relayed onto a 10m2 LED screen so that none of the events were missed.

The set up was two fixed cameras triaxed back to a Portable Production Unit with the LINK Wireless camera positioned at the circuits "Esses" bends . This was about 1.5Km away from the receive point back at the Signing on building (marked in blue on the map). Link used a L1500 wireless camera transmitted with camera control and the receive point used 3dB Omnis. This was then wired to the PPU along with the triaxed cameras.

During the event the LINK camera was taken from the fixed position and used to cover the paddock and club areas. This was again then displayed onto the LED screen.
